Professor John Kincaid is the first recipient of the new Distinguished Scholar Award given by the research section on Comparative Federalism and Multilevel Governance of the International Political Science Association. The award was unanimously conferred at the annual meeting of the International Political Science Association on July 23-28, 2016, in Poznań, Poland.
